Venezuelan Justice Minister Diosdado Cabello has again issued a warning to Trinidad and Tobago, stating last night that Venezuela would be left with no choice but to respond to any attack launched from the country’s territory.

Cabello, a Maduro-regime strongman and official within the ruling United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) party, was speaking during a tour of Venezuela’s police coordination center referring to Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar, claiming that Trinidad’s territory was being used against Venezuela.

“People do not agree with this. No, they do not agree. We have always lived in peace. Venezuela does not fight with anyone, but they leave us no alternative. If Trinidad lends its territory to attack Venezuela, we have to respond. We have no other choice, always to prevent an attack,” he said.
