Venezuelan Justice Minister Diosdado Cabello has again criticised Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar, stating that Trinidad and Tobago was governed by “American Imperialism.”

Cabello was speaking on Wednesday night during his weekly television programme, when he referenced demonstrations against US military movements in the Caribbean and the US’ military exercises in Trinidad and Tobago.

He said peaceful demonstrations were held against the “servility” of the “patient” who governs Trinidad and Tobago. Similar protests criticising Persad-Bissessar were held in late October, organized by the ruling PSVU United Socialist Party of Venezuela.
