POLICE have arrested a taxi-driver who allegedly struck a female passenger and a child in his taxi after he was asked about the route he took on their journey on Monday.
The incident, shared widely on social media, engaged Assistant Commissioner of Police Wayne Mystar, who said an arrest was imminent as the police have zero tolerance for violence against women and children.
Mystar told the Express yesterday that a 39-year-old man of Princes Town was arrested by officers of the Southern Division Task Force in connection with the case.
