Two armed criminals robbed a cellphone outlet on High Street, San Fernando, on Wednesday afternoon, escaping with cash and several mobile phones despite the busy commercial area being regularly patrolled.
Police said the robbery occurred around 12.20 p.m. at the Bmobile Outlet Cell Serve Limited, where two employees were conducting sales when the suspects entered the store posing as customers.
According to investigators, the first suspect, described as a man of East Indian descent, about 5 feet 7 inches tall with a low haircut and brown complexion, was wearing an orange T-shirt, black three-quarter pants and a fisher’s hat. He reportedly pulled out a firearm and announced a robbery.
