Police are investigating a report of larceny in Port of Spain after a man’s mountain bike was stolen outside a bank on Thursday morning.
The victim, a 61-year-old Laventille resident, reported that around 5.45 am, he visited the Scotiabank ATM at the Independence Square branch, located at the corner of Independence Square North and Frederick Street.
The man said he left his Trek Rad slack mountain bike, valued at $7,055, outside the bank while he used the ATM, making periodic checks on the bicycle. During one of these checks, he discovered the bike was missing.
