Police are investigating a series of robberies and vehicle-related thefts targeting both pedestrians and motorists on December 18.
A 47-year-old woman from Upper Layan Hill, Belmont, was accosted while walking with her husband toward their vehicle at Trincity Mall, near Tru Valu.
Reports say around 7.30 pm, two men got out of a silver-grey Nissan Tiida and shouted at the woman, “Wah in dah bag dey!” before one of the men grabbed her handbag.
