A Freeport man was robbed at gunpoint while attempting to make a deposit at a Scotiabank ATM in Port of Spain on Sunday night.
The incident occurred around 9:10 p.m. on July 20 at the bank’s Independence Square location. Police said the victim was using the bank’s Fast Service system when he was confronted by three men.
The assailants reportedly pushed him against a wall and announced a robbery. The victim handed over a black bag containing an undisclosed amount of cash, along with his Samsung Note 20 cellphone valued at $3,500. The suspects then fled on foot.
