ALLAN RICHARDS, the Tobago House of Assembly's (THA) first chief administrator and a leading figure in the island's Public Service and business community, has died.

Richards died at the Roxborough Hospital following a recent medical emergency. Prior to his passing, reports stated that he had been hospitalised in a serious condition after suffering a stroke.

Richards, who served as the THA's first chief administrator from 1996 to 2008, was yesterday remembered as a visionary leader whose decades of service helped shape Tobago's public administration and economic development.
