TOBAGO House of Assembly (THA) Chief Secretary Farley Augustine is prepared to be taken to court by tardy State agencies, as the THA pursues Tobago’s development.
Augustine yesterday stated that where it is critical to the development of the island, the Assembly will not wait for long periods, and sometimes years, for approvals from agencies such as the Town and Country Planning Division and the Environmental Management Authority (EMA).
He was speaking at a news conference, at the THA’s office in Scarborough, one day after being sworn in for a second term as Chief Secretary.
