One person has died and several others injured after a minibus toppled several times before slamming into a car in front of the Guyana National Stadium, Providence.

Based on video footage released from a nearby surveillance camera, the Route 42 minibus can be seen approaching at a fast rate of speed as a canter truck attempted to switched lanes.

This caused a collision with the minibus flipping into a pole on the median along the roadway before colliding with a car travelling on the eastern side of the roadway.
