A 42-year-old West Coast Berbice man has died from injuries sustained in a two-car collision on the No. 22 Public Road on Sunday.
Dead is Carlton Pluck of No. 8 Village, West Coast Berbice, who succumbed to severe head injuries on Tuesday at about 16:30h, while receiving treatment at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC).
Police said preliminary investigations revealed that Pluck was driving motor car PJJ 94 east along the northern drive lane of the public road at an alleged fast rate of speed when the accident occurred.
