The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) has taÂken nearly four months—and counting—to provide basic information about its investigaÂtion into underground child porÂnography rings, repeatedly extending a legally prescribed 30-day response period under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).
Despite three extension requests and repeated follow-ups by the Sunday Express, the TTPS has yet to say whether the investigation remains active, how many arrests have been made, or how many caÂses have been referred to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
