ACTING Commissioner of Police Junior Benjamin says the Police Service (TTPS) fulfilled its role in the case against three former Strategic Services Agency (SSA) employees whose charges were dismissed earlier this week.
The cases were dismissed after the State failed to meet certain court-imposed timelines required for the matters to progress to trial.
On Wednesday, Master Kimitra Gray dropped the charges against self-proclaimed spy and Special Reserve Police officer Pastor Ian Brown of the Jerusalem Bride Church; former SSA security supervisor Susan Portell-Griffith; and Sgt Sherwin Waldron, a former member of the now-defunct Special Operations Response Team (SORT), in accordance with the Administration of Justice (Indictable Proceedings) Act.
