Police are investigating an incident at the Malick Secondary School in Morvant in which two security guards were robbed by four armed suspects in a coordinated night-time attack.
According to reports, around 11.40 p.m. Saturday, two security officers were on duty conducting checks on the western side of the school compound when they were approached by four unknown individuals, each armed with pieces of iron. The suspects reportedly entered a classroom behind the officers, instructed them to lie on the floor, and carried out the robbery.
One of the victims, a 25-year-old man employed with MTS Security Limited, told police that he was struck on the left thigh with a piece of iron by one of the suspects, then choked as he was asked for the cafeteria keys.
