A man who stopped to get some coconut water near the Queen’s Park Oval on Monday was robbed of $23,000 cash which was swiped from his car by a bandit.
Police said that around noon, the man left the Royal Bank branch at Westmoorings, headed east, and while driving along Tragarete Road near the Oval, opted to buy coconut water.
Parking next to the Oval, he got out, crossed Tragarete Road and got the water from a vendor.
