This is how political analysts have described Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar’s support of United States President Donald Trump’s decision to deploy warships off Venezuela’s coast to tackle narcotics trade and cartels.

However, one analyst believes she went too far in stating that if Venezuela attacks Guyana, she would allow US troops access to Trinidad and Tobago’s territory, if requested, in defence of the Caricom neighbour.
