An 18-year-old man was assaulted and robbed near President's House off the Queen's Park Savannah in Port of Spain on Wednesday morning.

The teenager told police that he made arrangements to meet someone via Facebook to purchase an item. However, upon arriving at the agreed-upon location, he was attacked.

The victim was relieved of his cash and cellular phone. The suspect then fled the scene.
