Mayaro man, 67, dies in house fire

The charred remains of a 67-year-old man were found on a metal bed frame after fire destroyed his wooden home in Union Village, Mayaro, shortly after midnight on Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as Vishnu Marajh, who was the lone occupant of the house at LP No. 5 Oil Field Road.
Police said officers from the Mayaro Police Station responded to a report of a house fire around 12.20 am on Wednesday.
