A Grand Lagoon Mayaro man has reportedly died after seriously injuring his wife and son and setting himself on fire.
The Express was told that authorities responded to a fire in the Grand Lagoon area on Saturday morning and discovered the man’s home, which he shared with his family, ablaze.
The man had allegedly chopped his son and wife before lighting himself and the home on fire. The Express was told that the injured woman was hospitalized and is in critical condition.
