A woman was robbed at the Morvant Taxi Stand in Port of Spain early Sunday morning after being threatened by two men.
According to police, the victim was standing at the taxi stand near the Housing Development Corporation (HDC) building along George Street around 12.30 a.m. when she was approached by two men.
Police said one suspect, described as a slim-built man of African descent, approximately 5ft 5in tall, with a low-cut hairstyle and wearing an orange T-shirt and three-quarter pants, demanded the woman’s cellphone. The second suspect grabbed her handbag.
