Three people were robbed at gunpoint at a fruit and vegetable stall along South Central Road, near the Dunlop Roundabout, on Saturday afternoon.
Police said that around 2:10 p.m. , a 53-year-old woman of Clarke Road, Penal, contacted the Point Fortin Police Station and reported that she and two others were at her stall when two men approached and announced a robbery.
One suspect is described as about 5 feet 5 inches tall, dark brown in complexion, slim-built, clean-shaven, with a low haircut, wearing short pants and a jersey of unknown colour, and armed with a firearm. The second suspect is described as about 5 feet 7 inches tall, wearing short pants and a jersey of unknown colour, with a white bandana and dark shade covering his face.
