Minister of Homeland Security Roger Alexander says that, based on police advice, he will recommend that the Stink + Dutty fete be banned from Chaguaramas.
The fete attracted more than 17,000 patrons to the Heliport in Chaguaramas on Saturday, resulting later in gridlock traffic throughout the day along the peninsula.
Several businesses were forced to close, residents along the route had no access to and from their homes, and there were multiple vehicular accidents and incidents that required police intervention.
