Police are investigating a late-night home invasion in Belmont in which a 63-year-old man was tied up, beaten and robbed by three intruders.
Around 10 p.m. on Thursday, the victim was at his Archer Street home with the front door open when three men entered, bound him and announced a robbery. The attackers allegedly beat him, ransacked the house, and stole his wallet containing his driver’s permit, ID card and Scotiabank debit card as well as a black Samsung A06 cellphonev alued at $1,300.
The victim later freed himself and reported the incident to police.
