A 49-year-old woman was robbed of her cellphone, bank cards, and even a pack of coconut milk, while walking home in Belmont on Tuesday evening.
Police said around 7:15 p.m., the woman was heading south along Belmont Circular Road near Darceuil Lane when two young men accosted her. They snatched her Samsung A15 cellphone valued at $700 and a black plastic bag containing bank cards and a $7 pack of Maggi coconut milk.
The thieves then ran into Darceuil Lane, where they joined two accomplices before escaping.
