Two suspects have been arrested following an armed robbery at a construction site on Reform Estate Road on Friday.
According to police reports, a man armed with a firearm approached a worker at the site and demanded valuables, taking a gold chain before attempting to flee. When another person on the site intervened, the armed suspect pointed the firearm at them, prompting the first victim to discharge rounds from a licensed firearm in self-defense. The suspects returned to a waiting vehicle and escaped along Reform Estate Road.
Police recovering spent shells, and seizing the licensed firearm involved. The getaway vehicle was later recovered and taken to San Fernando Police Station for forensic processing.
