A group of 14 visitors from Trinidad were scammed out of thousands of dollars after booking accommodation with Tobago Haven Villas, only to arrive in Tobago and discover that the villa does not exist.

Tobago police have been investigating the matter.

The group arrived in Tobago for the Eid long weekend, only to discover that the Tobago Haven Villas they had booked did not exist, and their calls to the contact person went unanswered.
