The National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited (NGC) commenced its 2026undergraduate programme. Over the coming weeks, 44 interns will take part in a structuredprogramme, designed to allow these future professionals to gain real-world experience andafford them meaningful learning opportunities. From hands-on project assignments tomentorship from experienced professionals, they will be a part of Trinidad and Tobago’s mostimportant energy companies — and learn what it truly means to be part of the workingprofessional world.
In welcoming its newest cohort of students to its 2026 Undergraduate Programme, this excitingmilestone reflects NGC’s ongoing dedication to nurturing young talent, sharing knowledge andhelping the next generation of professionals grow into the leaders our nation. Students from awide range of academic backgrounds are joining the programme, bringing fresh perspectives andideas to the table. They will work side by side with technical, administrative and operationalteams, putting classroom learning into practice and discovering how their skills translate into areal-time, professional environment.
And it’s not just about the day-to-day work experience – the programme will also feature a seriesof engaging professional development sessions designed to help students grow in everydimension. Topics include financial literacy; energy conservation and sustainability; conflictresolution; workplace professionalism and interview skills — tools which they will need to stepconfidently into their careers.
