More than 600 young peo­ple across Trinidad and To­ba­go will take part in a new na­tion­al in­tern­ship launched by TSTT. The Fu­ture Lead­ers In­tern­ship Pro­gramme, un­veiled at Queen’s Park Oval on Ju­ly 31, is aimed at cit­i­zens aged 17 to 21 who are not em­ployed or en­rolled in full-time ter­tiary ed­u­ca­tion.

The three-week pro­gramme, which runs from Au­gust 11 to 30, will com­bine vir­tu­al and in-per­son train­ing fo­cused on dig­i­tal lit­er­a­cy, ca­reer ex­po­sure, and work­place skills. Par­tic­i­pants will be placed across five streams tied to TSTT’s op­er­a­tions: tech­ni­cal, sales, cus­tomer ser­vice, sup­port ser­vices, and qual­i­ty as­sur­ance.

Each in­tern will re­ceive a fi­nan­cial stipend.
