Chairman of the National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago Ltd (NGC) Gerald Ramdeen says the State-owned energy company was “broken” when the new board took office in July 2025 but has since undergone a major financial turnaround.
Ramdeen said the turnaround was only the beginning, with NGC now preparing to expand its role across the upstream and downstream energy sectors.
He was speaking yesterday at the presentation of the NGC’s summary consolidated financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2025, at the Hyatt Regency (Trinidad), Port of Spain.
