The North West Regional Health Authority (NWRHA) has announced the successful discharge of the smallest triplets ever delivered and cared for in Trinidad and Tobago.
The infants were born at 27 weeks and spent several months in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at the Port of Spain General Hospital before being released into the care of their family.
In a statement, the Authority said it “proudly announces a remarkable milestone for the clinical team” and recognised the infants’ survival and development as reflective of “the highest standards of neonatal medicine, advanced respiratory and nutritional support, and the unwavering dedication of our nursing and medical staff.”
