The North West Regional Health Authority (NWRHA) has announced a medical milestone, with the successful discharge of the smallest triplets ever delivered and treated in Trinidad and Tobago.
The babies, born prematurely at just 27 weeks, spent several weeks in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at the Port of Spain General Hospital before being allowed to go home.
In a statement, the NWRHA praised the resilience of the infants and their family, describing their survival as a testament to the high level of care provided at the facility.
