Kaieteur Sports – Fresh off a historic silver-medal finish at the Caribbean Women’s Basketball Championship, the Guyana Basketball Federation (GBF) has unveiled a balanced 12-player squad that will represent the Golden Arrowhead at the FIBA Women’s AmeriCup 2027 Centrobasket Qualifiers in Managua, Nicaragua.

The tournament is scheduled for July 12-18 at the Polideportivo Alexis Argüello, where eight of the region’s top national teams will compete for three coveted spots at the FIBA Women’s AmeriCup 2027.

Guyana enters the competition riding a wave of confidence after producing a second-place performance at the women’s Caribbean Championship that earned the team a place on the continental stage.
