Man killed after car careens into ditch

A 28-year-old La Horquetta man died in a road traffic accident in Sangre Grande early Thursday morning after the car he was driving crashed into a ditch along Coronation Road.
Police identified the deceased as Joel Wharwood, of George Goddard Lane, Phase Two, La Horquetta, Arima.
According to reports, around 2 am, a woman went to the Sangre Grande Police Station and reported seeing what appeared to be a crashed vehicle in a ditch off Coronation Road.
