TWO men are dead following separate road traffic accidents near Piarco and Chaguanas on Friday morning.
In the first incident at about 9.10 a.m. yesterday police received a report that the body of a man was observed lying along the southbound lane of the Uriah Butler Highway near Jerningham Junction.
Officers of the Chaguanas Police Station and the Traffic and Highway Patrol Branch, Freeport, visited the scene and found 44-year-old Sumraj Bhagwandeen of Jerningham Junction Road, Charlieville, lying motionless on the roadway. He was clad in a purple plaid shirt, long blue jeans, and one black shoe. A pool of blood was observed near his head.
