A 56-year-old shop owner and his employee were shot during a robbery at a sales tent along Gulf View Link Road on Saturday night.

Police said that around 7 p.m., the proprietor and his employee, a 40-year-old Venezuelan woman, were at the business place when they were approached by two men of African descent.

One suspect is described as about six feet tall, medium-built, dark brown in complexion, armed with a firearm and wearing dark clothing. The second suspect is described as about five feet ten inches tall, medium-built, and also wearing dark clothing.
