A 36-year-old couple from Aranguez were robbed and assaulted on Tuesday evening after meeting with men posing as vehicle sellers in San Juan.
The incident occurred around 6. p.m. after the couple agreed to purchase a Nissan Tiida from a man they had been communicating with. The suspect arranged to meet them on Hollis Street, San Juan, police said.
According to reports, upon arriving at the location, the couple were accosted by two men, one of whom was armed with a firearm. During the encounter, the female victim was struck on the head with the weapon.
