The Policeman, who confessed that he fatally shot his Cuban national girlfriend before dumping her body in bushes at Enmore, East Coast Demerara, said that he used a teddy bear as a makeshift silencer when he killed his girlfriend.
The disclosure is contained in a confession statement allegedly given by Police Constable Randy Thomas, who admitted to investigators that he arranged to meet 26-year-old Dailen Paneque GĂłmez on June 18 after contacting her by telephone.
According to the statement, 20-year-old Thomas accused Paneque GĂłmez of being unfaithful, and the two travelled together in his motor vehicle to the Enmore Backdam area, where they discussed their relationship.
