A 38-year-old labourer from Argyle, Tobago, reported that $6,000 in cash was stolen from his home during a burglary on Sunday night.
The victim, of Breadfruit Alley, Argyle, told police that around 9 p.m. he secured his home, took a sleeping pill and went to bed feeling unwell. He said he left $6,000 in inside the pocket of a pair of pants next to his bed.
Around 9.15 p.m., his brother arrived home and entered through the kitchen door, which was left closed but not locked, before retiring to bed.
