OPPOSITION Member of Parliament Saddam Hosein has called for investigations by the police and the Integrity Commission into the expenditure of public funds by the Point Lisas Industrial Port Development Corporation (PLIPDECO) to purchase tickets for a People’s National Movement (PNM) fete.
Speaking during the United National Congress (UNC) Pavement Report on Thursday in Tunapuna, he called for the PLIPDECO chairman, Annette Wattie, to explain the matter and for the company’s entire board “to go”.
