PRIME MINISTER Kamla Persad-Bissessar says she will not name the two Independent senators who she said requested personal favours in exchange for their votes on the failed Zones of Special Operations (ZOSO) Bill.
She reiterated yesterday that the President-appointed Independents knew who they were and would have to live with that shame.
On Wednesday, the Prime Minister said she knew that the Law Reform (Zones of Special Operations) (Special Security and Community Development) Bill, 2026, would fail in the Upper House because her Government would not buy votes to secure the three-fifths majority required for passage.
