A driÂver atÂtached to FurÂness Trinidad LimÂitÂed was robbed at gunÂpoint by three men yesÂterÂday mornÂing as he left Sea Lots afÂter colÂlectÂing monÂey for his emÂployÂer.
The 48-year-old man had gone to FurÂness Trinidad LimÂitÂed on ProÂducÂtion DriÂve, Sea Lots, around 8 am, where he reÂceived an enÂveÂlope conÂtainÂing an undisÂclosed amount of cash beÂfore leavÂing.
It is alÂleged that as he waitÂed in standÂstill trafÂfic, preparÂing to merge onÂto the Churchill-RooÂsevelt HighÂway headÂing inÂto Port-of-Spain, three men apÂproached his van. One, armed with a gun, came to the front pasÂsenÂger door, while the othÂer two apÂproached the driÂver’s door and the right rear pasÂsenÂger door.
