A 70-year-old retired soldier was robbed and assaulted by four men while attempting to enter his vehicle in Port of Spain on Monday afternoon.
Police said that around 2.30 p.m. the victim was about to enter his vehicle parked on Cockerton Street, Port of Spain, when he was accosted by four male suspects.
Two of the suspects were armed with knives. The men reportedly pulled the man out of the vehicle and beat him about his body before robbing him of $4,600 in cash and a green Motorola G5 cellphone.
