Very litÂtle progress was made yesÂterÂday in a novÂel lawÂsuit filed by five forÂmer resÂiÂdents of St DoÂminic’s ChilÂdren’s Home, who alÂlege they sufÂfered physÂiÂcal and sexÂuÂal abuse while livÂing there.
DurÂing a virÂtuÂal hearÂing, High Court Judge CarÂol GobÂin deÂclined to give case manÂageÂment diÂrecÂtions unÂtil a forÂmer emÂployÂee of the home, named as a deÂfenÂdant, is propÂerÂly served with court docÂuÂments.
“I canÂnot proÂceed unÂtil he is served,” GobÂin said.
