THE PEOPLE's National Movement (PNM) Women's League has called on Public Utilities Minister Barry Padarath to 'butt out' of Opposition Leader Penelope Beckles' handling of issues surrounding PNM Senator Janelle John-Bates.

In a statement yesterday, the PNM Women's League said to Padarath that 'cockroach have no place in fowl business', and said that it stands solidly behind Beckles' decision to 'ignore the hysteria the UNC is desperately trying to create around the composition of the Opposition's Senate bench'.

Calling the minister 'Little Barry the Butcher', the League said Padarath, 'who is obviously and embarrassingly flailing about in an attempt to 'give them performance', cannot hold a candle to the honourable Pennelope Beckles, far less be worthy of carrying her handbag'.
