Beckles cannot delay John-Bates decision

POLITICAL analysts say Opposition Leader Pennelope Beckles can no longer afford to delay a decision on Opposition Senator Janelle John-Bates.
The analysts were asked to comment on Beckles’ response to mounting pressure from the Government over John-Bates’ continued role in Parliament.
Beckles addressed the issue during the PNM’s Sport and Family Day at Nelson Mandela Park, Port of Spain, on Sunday, where she criticised Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar for commenting on the matter.
