John-Bates reÂturned to the UpÂper House yesÂterÂday afÂter a short leave of abÂsence due to illÂness. HowÂevÂer, her fate is still unÂknown, deÂspite ofÂferÂing her resÂigÂnaÂtion to BeckÂles on May 1 over alÂleÂgaÂtions tied to her conÂduct on the PubÂlic AdÂminÂisÂtraÂtion and ApÂproÂpriÂaÂtions ComÂmitÂtee (PAAC).
