Assistant Commissioner of Police Brian Soodeen said yesterday the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) will review the practice of conducting road traffic exercises during peak hours, such as the first day of the school term.
Soodeen admitted that a review was necessary as he was questioned during a Joint Select Committee (JSC) meeting, where members raised concerns about traffic congestion caused by police and Licensing exercises.
The meeting was convened to examine the efficiency of the traffic management system in Trinidad and Tobago.
