THE Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) has intensified its law enforcement efforts over the past 72 hours, conducting widespread operations that have led to numerous arrests, seizures of illegal firearms, ammunition, and drugs, and the detection of hundreds of traffic offences.
This surge in activity comes as Commissioner of Police, Allister Guevarro, yesterday issued a direct appeal to citizens to stand in solidarity with the TTPS during the ongoing state of emergency (SoE).
In a media release, the TTPS reported conducting a total of 185 coordinated operations across all policing divisions.
