Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley has presi­ded over a near decade of destruction and is fleeing from the “mess” he created, says Oppo­sition Leader Kamla Persad-­Bissessar.

She said this includes deals with Venezuelan Pre­sident Nicolas Madu­ro, who US President Do­n­ald Trump is going after.

The former prime minister issued a scathing media release yesterday on the heels of Rowley’s announcement that he will resign on March 16, criticising his legacy and leadership, and insinuating that his exit comes in the face of Trump’s ascendancy.
