Dr Keith Rowley, who retired as prime minister at midnight on March 16, says he does not miss being PM.
Asked the question in an interview with the Sunday Express last Wednesday, he said: “Right now? Nothing. I was quite prepared not to be prime minister. If you are not in love with it (the office), you can leave it and not be traumatised. I am not traumatised. As a matter of fact, some people think I am too happy at the moment.”
Rowley expressed his full confidence that the persons replacing him can do the job well. “I have left in place a very good team...My worry is that the country could cut its own throat by choosing the wrong team (in the April 28 general election),” he added.
